Hello, and welcome to our website. This issue has not been the easiest one to put together, but we’re pleased to release the latest issue of Tabletop SPIRIT Magazine…
All our back issues can be downloaded FREE on the relevant tab above, and we’ve recently added both a TSM Archive section, and a TSM Blog. At time of writing I’ve no idea how often the Blog will get updated, but we’ve got to start somewhere I guess…
This issue includes a delve into the history of Master Mind c/o Tony Boydell from The Museum of Board Games, an interview with James Borda about the challenges of bringing the 3D tile-laying game Cubyria to Kickstarter, as well as a chat with the team behind The Cozy Bundle which will be winging its way onto Kickstarter in September 2026.
In addition, there are reports from UKGE and MidSummerCon, a couple of conventions that took place earlier this year, as well as a rather harsh verdict on Play 2026, the Italian UKGE equivalent.
There’s other stuff which we’ll leave you to discover for yourself, but please note we’re also starting a new Vintage Tabletop section where games that are 20+ years old will get a second look to not only establish if they’re still relevant, but also to respect their long-term influence on the modern boardgames market. If you’ve got a game to add to the list, do get in touch!
